I can't believe I used to love this.
We watched it alot.
I quoted the upside-down cake prose to my husband
a few nights ago and he had no idea what I was talking about.
He is better off, if I do say so myself.

We went to Portland for the Beck Wedding.
We took some pictures but I can't find the camera.
I love Portland.

I think there is piano that I can get a hold of.
I miss piano something wicked.
It is an upright, right on.

I switched over the wardrobe.
Bring it on, chilliness, bring it on.

October is tapping me on the shoulder.
Apple cider, costumes, warm socks, etc.
I crunched leaves with my bike tire...
(as I sped uncontrollably downtown)

I was working on a long post yesterday, but it didn't happen.

I went to Palouse today with Abby... I found some cute stuff.

Owl Salt & Pepper Shakers
(there is no bottom closures so I have to cork those bad boys up)

Creamer & Sugar Bowlette
(I didn't have these guys)

And we both got some of these Snack Sets for pretty cheap.
(one pair was missing from the Seashell Set)

August is over.

The Penneys and the one Smith left this morning.
I'm really a lot sadder to see them go than I thought I would be.
And I was planning on being pretty sad.
Double Bummer.

I've been watching too much Flight of the Conchords.
I approve, but slightly recommend.

Fall is on it's way. I'm going to welcome it with open arms,
even though the apartment is really cold anyways.

Trinity Fest, and we are settled.

It's been 3 weeks. It's been pretty awesome. We have seating in both the Dining and Living rooms. What up?!? Shopping withdrawal is here to stay. But I like not having gilt about shopping when there isn't even enough room in the closet for the clothes I already have. This doesn't meant that I don't have a full shopping cart in most online stores. but it's harder to be impuslive with online shopping. Which is very very good.

I'm really having a hard time believing that it is almost September. Mean summer is almost over. And over for alot of folks who are taking classes. It feels like we just got here. Here = Summer, in this instance.

Awesome Summer Movies

Bourne Ultimatum - the Trilogy is Fabulous (Quadrilogy would be an amazing thing.)
Harry Potter - Both the movie and the book. Top Notch. No arguments. None.
Transformers - Don't hate. This the most pumped I've been in a movie about Robots, ever. You'll forgive John Turturro.

I haven't seen anything else, but those three come highly recommended.

So Grace and Joel are coming to town. It should be really sweet. Camping might happen. Lake Swimming should happen. Fun is definitely going to happen.

Portland is hot like Fire!!!

It is about 85° here today. It is a huge difference from the somewhat chilly weather from yestersay in Santa Cruz. Luckily we are staying in the very awesome Jupiter Hotel. Sweetness personified. Their dining room is awesome. 60's log cabinesque, we heard the decemberists and stevie wonder over the only platter of pancakes on the west cost that i have not been able to massacre.

Awesome.

Honeymoon Time.

We just traveled from San Francisco to Santa Cruz. San Francisco was pretty much awesome, because there is more of a town feeling instead of a city feeling. Art museums are nioceness. Sweet eatingishes. An unbelievable amount of homeless/crazy folks there. Also lots of people don't move over when you are walking there, just walk right into you. Hmmmm.

God Loves us.
We got upgraded in our room, because of a spooky booking mishap. Their fault not ours. It looks like it's cool here. But traveling with luggage with no car makes energy go away.

We have pictures, (mostly of sights, not us) but we can't show them to you because the card reader is on it's way to Moscow. Ha!
